Founding principles such as commitment to quality, personalized customer service and consistency of product, upon which the company was built, remain vital to our success.SUMMARYThis position is responsible for assisting in maintaining the sanitation of the production lines, production equipment, and related areas of the facility according to Federal and State Guidelines for food manufacturing facilities according to the Master Sanitation schedule (MMS). This position will also follow company, customer and third‑party audit sanitation standards for the facility while knowing and complying with all safety rules and good manufacturing practices.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSExecute all sanitation tasks related to the Master Sanitation ScheduleOperate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specifiedLearn the functions of the production equipment, and how to disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble themMaintain the cleanliness of the production lines and equipment during production runs. Support the production operators in these effortsPerform a key role in the sanitation of production lines and equipment during scheduled downtime for product run changeoversWork closely with Quality Assurance to meet requirements for Food SafetyGenerate ideas for the continuous improvement of processesMaintain daily reports, logs, and records according to standard operating procedures, processes, and company expectationsPerform other Sanitation tasks as needed and manage a high paced environment to ensure high manufacturing efficiency and quality.Ensure all Safety and Quality Program standards are met in the facilityESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSMust be able to work in a team environment.Must be able to follow written methods, paying close attention to details.Must be able to follow specific work direction and adjust as necessary to accomplish the job.The ability to work independentlyMust be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime, as neededPOSITION DEMANDSStanding and walking for up to 10 hoursLifting and carrying 25 to 50 lbs.Pushing/pulling more than 1,000 lbs. using pallet jackUsing tools to disassemble/assemble equipmentOperating an industrial-scale dishwasherAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability or protected veteran status.#J-18808-Ljbffr
