Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experienceEligible for employment in the USMust have one of the following:One (1) year experience in any of the following Maintenance Skill Areas: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, LUBRICATION, WELDING, AUTOMOTIVE MAINTENANCE, or PIPEFITTING; OROne (1) year vocational/technical education in the MaintenanceDisciplines: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, LUBRICATION, WELDING, AUTOMOTIVE MAINTENANCE, or PIPEFITTINGMust be willing to meet the following requirements:Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection)Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employmentUndergo a job related health assessment as a condition of employmentSubmit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employmentWork any shift and/or a rotating shift scheduleWork overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notificationWork holidays and/or weekends on a regular basisWear required safety equipmentIt is preferred that candidates have the following skills and/or experience(s):Associates degree or certification(s) in any IP Core Maintenance Skills or related disciplines (Millwright, Machinist, Lubrication, Welding, Automotive Maintenance, or Pipefitting)Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.Technical knowledge and experience with:Pump repair and replacementRepacking pumps and valvesRiggingRepairing mechanical drive systems, rotating assembliesBearing installation, maintenance, and replacementReplacing motors, valves, and gasketsReplacing and repairing cylindersProduction machine/equipment maintenanceRotating equipmentReading and interpreting blueprints, tables, graphs, and diagramsIndustrial safety procedures and equipmentGear reducersOil sealsBasic weldingForklift operationGearsRoll repair and replacementHydraulics/PneumaticsKnowledge of mobile equipmentProduct moving systemsInstalling screw pipe and tubingSteel fabricationPipefittingMaintenance-related computers and softwareFacility maintenance and repairsServicing vehiclesThe Job You Will PerformThis position will assist journeymen-level mechanical maintenance craftsmen in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently.
