The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the daily human resources operations, including employment law, recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and benefits administration.This role functions as a liaison with employees and leadership, fostering a positive culture while ensuring HR systems and records are accurate and compliant.BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS Follows the principles of the Foundation's core values:TrustRespectIntegrityCommitmentMotivated to value-add to the success of the FoundationDependableDetail-orientedAdaptable, receptive to changeTeach through example and servicePractices professional curiosity and desire to learnExcellent people skills and ability to work with a diverse constituencyMaintain confidentialityESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulationsPartner with financial services to support employee benefits enrollment and administrationCollaborate with employees on HR issues, providing support and informationProvide administrative support for claims management, including workers' compensation, protected leave, and other employment mattersSupport the performance management process, including facilitating participant training and maintaining accurate documentationMaintain accurate employee records, HR files, and other confidential personnel documentationProvide support for HR technology platforms utilized by Foundation staff, including onboarding, recruitment, and LF Forms processesCollaborate with the senior director of operations on compensationAssist in drafting and distributing HR communicationsSupport onboarding activitiesServe as backup support for payroll processing, as neededAssist with publishing HR policies, compliance documentation, and related communicationsCreate and manage job postings within the applicant tracking system and provide recruitment process training for hiring managers and recruitment teamsProvide input to the senior director of operations regarding departmental risk managementPartner with CSS2 on operational initiativesProvide day-to-day supervision and guidance to the administrative Services teamServe as tertiary-level backup to the CSS1 to ensure continuity of operationsOTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ProjectsParticipates in ongoing training, education, and staff meetingsOther duties as assignedRequirements COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE Strong interpersonal communication and the ability to build and maintain trusted teamsHR certification preferredMinimum 4 years of relevant work experience preferredIn-depth understanding of employment laws and safety policies to mitigate riskProfessionalism, curiosity, and discretion when managing confidential informationTechnological proficiency, especially in HRIS systemsEthical leadership experiencePHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT This job is conducted in an office work environment, sitting much of the timeThis position's duties require use of a computerMust be able to exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally#J-18808-Ljbffr
