Patient Transporter - PRN

McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is your community medical provider, serving the Willamette Valley and its residents. Our 113-bed hospital offers inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, medical, surgical and emergency care. We are a family of caregivers offering care to our larger family our community.

Position Details:

• Hourly Base Rate: $18.47 - $23.51 + 10% resource differential
• Shift: PRN
• Hours: 10 hour variable shifts; all shifts to include late evenings
• Routine weekend shift responsibility
• SEIU Local 49 represented position

Job Summary:

• Under the general supervision of the DI Director, transports patients between the DI department and other hospital areas.
• Performs general cleaning as needed, including sanitizing transport equipment after each use.
• Performs clerical duties as assigned in the Department and assists with stocking supplies.
• Works under the direct supervision of on-duty technologists, within job limits, when management is not present.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Previous experience working in health-related field using medical terminology is preferred. Certified Nurses Aid (CNA) training preferred, but not required.
