Wood Lab Tech Sawyer Details:

• Temporary position
• $ 22.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)

• Operating Table saw, Radial arm saw, Bandsaw and Planers and cutting lumber
• Prepare and test samples following experimental designs provided by responsible chemist
• Maintain a safe work area
• Assist lab personnel with testing as directed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, keeping lab equipment in good working order
• Assist in gluing projects as needed
• Set up testing using the Wood Lab TSR system
• Maintain neat notebooks and data records

Wood Lab Tech Sawyer Qualifications:

• Wood sawyer or carpentry experience is required
• Ability to lift 25lb consistently
• Proficient in data entry and attention to detail
• Enjoys working in a team environment and learning new skills

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
