Waste Prevention Analyst

Are you passionate about reducing waste and helping our community recycle, reuse, and recover more? We're looking for a Waste Prevention Analyst to help drive innovative programs that support recycling, organics recovery, repair and reuse education, and business assistance. In this role, you'll support program development, policy research, outreach, and collaboration with partners across the community. You'll also help design and evaluate initiatives that make waste reduction easier and more effective for residents, businesses, and organizations. Classification: Management Analyst Salary: $43.18 - $55.12 hourly / $89,814.40 - $116,729.60 Annually The City of Eugene determines starting pay within the range based on relevant education and experience as provided by the applicant in their application materials. This process is consistent with the Oregon Equal Pay Act (OEPA).

Department, Division: Planning and Development/Administration Position Information: Non-Represented, Exempt Work Location: Eugene Atrium, 99 West 10th Avenue, Eugene, Oregon Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with flexibility per business need.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Two (2) years of professional experience in program administration, preferably in the public sector. Six (6) months of supervisory experience is preferred.

Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the assigned program area.

Background: Must pass a background check.
