JOB TITLE: OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: GENERAL MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY: Service, develop and maintain assigned customer base with minimum supervision. Communicate effectively with inside sales and repair facility staff to maximize company profit and still meet our commitment to provide “Quality Electric Motor Solutions, and Above All, Service”. Adhere to policies and procedures set forth in ‘Sales and Marketing Procedures Manual’.
WORK PERFORMED: Plan weekly sales calls and turn in report to supervisor every Monday. Calls should be proportional to the customer’s established volume and/or potential. Minimize unproductive driving time.
Sell, promote and have a thorough understanding of all company products and services. Be prepared for your customer calls with thought out presentations and having current samples, brochures catalogs, advertising material etc. on hand.
Promptly follow up on quotes and sales leads.
Maintain our company files with current customer information:
Address, phone #’s, contacts, and repair specifications (Customer Checklist) etc.
Preserve company integrity by timely resolution of customer complaints and problems.
Understand and comply with company sales and credit policies.
Keep yourself, company vehicle and desk neat and clean.
QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred level of education: high school diploma. Sales and/or Industry experience preferred.
